Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Gonzaga | Didn't gain as much info as I could have from the Michigan State game because they played it on a boat outdoors. |
| Kentucky | |
| Houston | |
| Baylor | |
| Kansas | |
| North Carolina | I wanna say they'll be fine but they're playing on autopilot way too much. |
| San Diego State | |
| Arizona | |
| Arkansas | |
| Duke | |
| UCLA | |
| Texas | |
| Indiana | |
| Saint Mary's | North Texas had the flu, but Oral Roberts and Vermont sure didn't |
| Tennessee | A lot of people will unrank them, and that's fair, but it seemed like an abnormally abysmal day on offense against Colorado and I don't think that'll continue. |
| Miami (FL) | |
| Dayton | |
| Alabama | |
| Auburn | |
| Virginia Tech | |
| UConn | |
| Purdue | I'm all in on a Zach Edey resurgence |
| Illinois | |
| Creighton | Looked pretty awful against St. Thomas, but I think the Tommies might actually be good. Not rankable or anything but at least the defense isn't a revolving door like last year. |
| Virginia | Alright fine I'll rank Virginia |
Need to see a little more from Texas Tech. TCU went from #9 to out because they look like they're still gelling; I bet they'll be back soon. Wyoming needs Graham Ike back STAT if they're gonna lose to Southeastern at home, yikes. Considered too many other teams to list...felt like most of them were from the B1G (I think Rutgers will find their way into the top 25 once they're completely healthy).
