| 12 | Baylor | (14) Rebounded after a bad loss on the road and got a solid win against a solid team. I like that they schedule tough to start the season. |
| 13 | Creighton | (13) Their defense looks a bit rough but this team hasn't taken any steps scoring the ball and Kalk has looked great. |

| 15 | Illinois | (17) Hard to tell where this team stands but have taken care of business so far |
| 16 | Rutgers | (16) Only one game played hard to really move where they are at without seeing more from them |

| 18 | Michigan State | (19) Didn't lose buy game this year |
| 19 | St. John's | (20) Slow starts in the first half but this team looks good this year despite some early Big East struggles. |

| 22 | Florida | (25) On the court they look solid. Off the court I worry if the distractions will get to them. |

| 24 | Texas | (11) May have overrated them but there is talent on this team for sure OSU just played better. |
| 25 | North Florida | (NR) 3-0 start and two wins so far against P6 schools this team seems legit so far. |
Overall Rationale
Dropped Out: #21 Texas A&M, #24 Xavier. Texas A&M lost in a tough road game but one I think they should have won. X has started slow I still believe in this team but they are not at a top 25 team level I thought they would be. Things should heat starting next week as more teams will play some tougher talent
