| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
Arizona | +1 debated this with purdue for a bit. We will find out the answer in 2 weeks anyway
Purdue | -1 purdue had a bad shooting night and Northwestern shot 50%. Not a bad loss at all. Its college ball.
Kansas | +2 Looked unbeatable in that first half against uconn. 2nd half wasn't as impressive, but a win is a win.
UConn | +1 Very impressive rally in the 2nd half at kansas. No shame in losing by only 4 at Allen.
Houston | +2 Only moving this high because the rest of the top 10 dropped eggs this week. Remains untested
Gonzaga | +2 Handling business so far
Baylor | +2 inheriting spots
Marquette | -5 We are mid-season now, single losses can't tank your ranking. Hard to figure out that wisconsin team right now though.
Florida Atlantic | +3 proving all the haters wrong.
Kentucky | +1 Some will hate on this pick. UNCW is a GOOD team. That was not a bad loss.
Duke | -7 Would have loved to keep Duke in the top 10. They should arguably be lower, but I think the Arkansas loss made Scheyer experiment with his lineup at GT. I think Duke got a 2 for 1 loss effect
Creighton | +4 Seem to be back on track?
North Carolina | +7 been a great last 2 weeks for the tar heels. Multiple ways they can beat you.
Virginia | +5 win over aggies was good, but not a pretty win at all. Mainly inheriting spots here
Texas | +3 inheriting spots
Illinois | +6 taking care of business while others falter
Auburn | -3 nearly everyone had a bad week. I'm not throwing auburn out just yet.
James Madison | +5 undefeated and inheriting spots
Miami (FL) | --9 rough outing at Rupp
Tennessee | -8 have not looked good in 3 straight losses
Arkansas | NR Homer bias probably, but the team that beat duke could be a final four team if consistent
Texas A&M | -5 20-25 is a free for all scramble. I could be convinced of any organizing of these bottom teams.
San Diego State | NR welcome back
Oklahoma | NR
Colorado State | NR
I mitigated the kentucky and Duke losses. I had the UNCW game circled for Arkansas's schedule already myself. That team is a trap game I'm telling you. I think Duke's loss at Arkansas clearly spilled over into how they went into GT. I also consider the Arkansas loss as inevitable, so I only see one "bad" loss for Duke this week. Unranked: Memphis, Miss St, Mich St, Nova. Ran out of spots for BYU.
