| 16 | Ohio State | (Prev 24) Has continued to look strong since an early season loss to TAMU. |
| 17 | San Diego State | (Prev 20) Has struggled in close wins against meh teams, but only has the BYU blemish. |
| 18 | Miami (FL) | (Prev 9) Dropped a bad game at Kentucky, who doesn't have as big a luster this week. |
| 19 | Kentucky | (Prev 13) Great big win over Miami, weird horrible loss to UNCW. |
| 20 | Wisconsin | {Prev NR-40) Had a meh loss at Providence early on, but has played really well and that Providence loss looks better than it originally did. |
| 21 | Virginia | (Prev NR-27) The Wisconsin loss doesn't look too bad now. |
| 22 | Colorado State | (Prev NR-37) Two impressive wins and no losses, looks strong. |
| 23 | Creighton | (Prev NR-33) Picked up some nice road wins, and the CSU loss doesn't look so bad. |
| 24 | TCU | (Prev NR-38) Not much of a believer in this team, but they keep rolling. |
