Dolphinz811's Week 7 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Purdue Beat the #1 team & won the tournament that gave Kansas their sole loss so I think they're #1 overall
Arizona Even with the loss, I think they have a case to be the next best team
Kansas Really strong, I just think Arizona's loss is better than their loss
UConn Right below the sole team they lost to. They look strong
Houston Just not that impressed. They haven't been really challenged and have struggled with somewhat good teams.
Marquette Their win this week wasn't pretty but they got it done
Oklahoma They're undefeated still so they deserve to rise
Kentucky Statement victory versus UNC
Baylor Not gonna drop them out of top 10 but dang that loss was badddd
Tennessee Easily the best 3-loss team in the country
North Carolina And now here's the second best 3-loss team
Illinois Solid win over Colgate
Virginia I just think they're super underrated
Colorado State The lover of the mid-majors in me wants to put them higher but this is good for now
Creighton That loss to UNLV did not look good...
Florida Atlantic I have faith in them, go Owls!
BYU Solid recovery week for them
Ole Miss Do I think they're #18? No but they're undefeated and that Memphis wins looks better now...
Memphis Speaking of Memphis, they look great and neither loss is horrible. Great challenge for the Owls in the AAC
James Madison If you're undefeated still, you deserve top 20 in my opinion
Clemson I still think this is a good team overall but they have to fall after the loss
Wisconsin I think this may be too low for them honestly...
Utah It's time we start paying attention to the Utes...they look good
Dayton 2 respectable, good losses with a number of respectable good wins...rank them you cowards!
Saint Joseph's Remember when the A10 used to get multiple bids every year? Can we start that up again? Both Dayton and St. Joseph's are tournament-worthy.

Overall Rationale

HM: Grand Canyon (great great GREAT underrated mid-major), Texas (not impressed by their victories), Colorado (solid fringe top 25-30 team), Miami (same with Colorado but they lost to them), and Gonzaga (2 great losses, 1 admirable one...but I'm not impressed by any of their actual wins. There's an argument for Washington to be above them for my last HM honestly but if my first ever rankings submission didn't include Zags at least in HMs, I'd get some side eyes)
