| 6 | Alabama | On paper, their nonconference schedule looks ridiculous, but some teams (UNC, Creighton, Purdue) may not be AS good as we thought |

| 8 | Gonzaga | Maybe still a little too high? Beat UCLA and get through WCC with 1-2 losses and you're another top 3 seed |

| 18 | Mississippi State | The Memphis game was the first time they were underdogs all year and they handled their business. They also beat Central Michigan by more than 8 (looking at you Marquette) |

| 20 | Purdue | Time to slowly unlock and hover over the panic button? |
| 21 | Michigan State | Can Coen Carr do the NBA Dunk Contest this year? |
| 22 | Illinois | I had them way too high last week and I need to apologize. Good team, but still looking for a signature win and have a loss to Northwestern |
| 23 | UCLA | Need to see them be competitive against Gonzaga this Saturday |
| 24 | Michigan | Juwan Howard would've never let them foul a 3 point shooter (he may have struck a man instead but alas) |
