Best player in the country. Continuity. Sophomore backcourt that played tons of minutes on a one seed. Potential for more wing depth/more athleticism on the wing. Easy 1 pick despite FDU loss.
2
Duke
Not better than Purdue, but I see the vision. Tons of talent. Like Purdue, relying on sophomore leaps. Unlike Purdue, they don't have the NPOY (Or Painter)
3
Michigan State
Talented. Old. Tons of freshman talent as well. Can they replace Hauser? He was a massive part of their success IMO.
4
Kansas
I am lower on this team than most but I know better than to doubt Self. Dickinson can be a distraction, and Im worried about their shooting.
5
Houston
Defense wont be as good, but they will be a textbook Houston
6
Tennessee
Zeigler and Vescovi are a great backcourt. Knecht can score a little. Hopefully they wont choke again.
7
Creighton
Kalkbrenner is so good. Old team, and I believe in the Mason Miller breakout. He can be this team's Karaban
8
UConn
I'm a little worried about the backcourt. But Clingan and Karaban is a perfect pairing.
9
Marquette
I think I have some residual anti Shaka takes left in me. That being said I loved how they played last year. O-Max was big but I think ppl are overvaluing him now.
10
Gonzaga
I am an absolutely massive Ryan Nembhard fan. Absolute floor general. Lots of potential elsewhere on the team, and Ike is a forgotten beast.
11
Texas
Carr->Abmas? No drop off there. Shedrick is a little overrated but this team is still good.
12
Baylor
Kenpom loves them and so do I. Replace a lot but Drew is good. Miro Little criminally underrated.
13
Kentucky
Typical UK team. Talent. Talent. Talent. High school recruiting will continue to return to relevance as old players graduate.
14
San Diego State
Lots of guys coming back. Will beat the shit out of you.
15
Florida Atlantic
This team is really good. But they arent naturally super talented, and the secrets out. They are getting EVERYONES best shot this yr.
16
Wisconsin
AJ Storr the least Wisconsin transfer of all time. And Wahl is a beast when healthy, I love him initiating the offense and Essegian, Storr, Klesmit ,Chucky and Crawl surrounding him.
17
Texas A&M
Look, its college basketball. The best teams have the best guards. Wade Taylor is good.
18
Arizona
I am a Caleb Love hater. But Lloyd is such a good coach. Ballo is a menace. They will figure it out.
19
Villanova
Justin Moore PG? IDK about that. But the rest of the team has a lot of talent. Dixon as a senior should be a beast.
20
Maryland
Young, Scott, Reese is a great start. Can DHS, Batchelor step up? Love the Reese Young combo but they need to find shooting
21
Saint Mary's
Who's returning guys like this anymore? Aidan Mahaney enjoyers will be out i force this year.
22
Miami (FL)
Nationally overrated, Wong is a huge loss. But I LOVE Norchad Omier, and Nigel Pack can be
23
USC
The Ellis Collier backcourt is going to be fun to watch This is a really old team with two five star freshmen. Thats a recipe for success.
24
Indiana
I get the offensive concerns. Two things: 1) This team has more than enough talent to figure it out on the offensive size. 2) Defensively, this should be a national top ten team.
25
Arkansas
Old team, good transfers. At this point I just trust Muss. Can't believe Khalif Battle became good.
