Overall Rationale
I debated heavily each of the top three teams to be the top team in my rankings, but I think Houston's combination of great coach, elite returning talent, and a great recruiting class lead them to being the top team this season. Elsewhere in the top 10, I am higher than average on Texas Tech, where I believe JT Toppin will contend strongly for the Wooden Award.
