Overall Rationale
Preseason rankings are basically a crapshoot this day and age. I went through a process of totaling up the Kenpom, Torvik, and Evanmiya rankings, as well as totaling each team's top 8 roster strength using Evanmiya's BPR. Then, I took into account other human rankings and identified what I see as overvalued or undervalued teams, and ranked them accordingly. In all honesty, it got harder and harder past the top 7.
