| 8 | Kansas | Team is stacked. If only the big 12 was easier. And Self was good at winning any big games. ITS KANSAS. |
| 9 | Texas Tech | Very stacked but overall inexperienced roster. Will go far but i can see them stumbling out of the gate. Especially when big 12 play rolls around and they gotta play tough teams every few days |
| 10 | Iowa State | Statistically the defense looks outstanding. Can the offense keep up? How often can they beat the elite teams during conference play? Im looking at Jaquan Johnson to be POTY for this team. |
| 11 | Gonzaga | Huff might be him, new conference, best this team has looked in a while. They need to improve a lot before we can call them elite. This Pac-12 is gonna be a lot harder than San Francisco and Pacific. |
| 12 | UConn | Will definitely rise once they get going but 11th and best in the big east by a mile |
| 13 | Alabama | Disgusting. Probably the second best SEC team this year we will have to see. Holloway gotta put the j down once hes back |
| 14 | Virginia | Most well rounded team but where is the eliteness? Ridder? |
| 15 | Nebraska | Looked solid in the exhibition game against BYU. Wanted to see more out of Sandfort. |
| 16 | Tennessee | Defense looks weaker than usual. Offense looks nastier than usual. Weird year. |

| 18 | Louisville | Apparently theyre back…for now. We shall see how the OOC bids them. |
| 19 | Texas | They look good. Maybe even make a deep run good? |
| 20 | Villanova | Call me crazy but they might finish 2nd in the BE if the red storm look flat. Their strength is definitely offense though. Big trust |

Overall Rationale
Just preseason thoughts. Michigan will fall and i wont be shocked to see UNC here soon. Im not kidding about HPU. Kansas might be 1 after a few weeks. I LOVE COLLEGE BASKETBALL.
